Miss ErinDiploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Miss Erin is a Diploma trained educator who has worked across all age groups in the early childhood industry. Miss Erin joined the Discovery House this year after working for the last 17 years at a long daycare centre, during these years she has been a room leader of all age groups and enjoys working as a part of a warm and friendly team. Miss Erin’s teaching philosophy is that she believes each child is an individual and should feel safe and secure while under our care. Miss Erin enjoys finding out what makes each of your children unique and working with them to discover who they are and what they love to do. Through this Miss Erin provides a program that not only supports their joy but also challenges them to try new things and discover the fun in trying new things. At the end of your child’s time here with Miss Erin, we hope that they are well-rounded individuals who will be well equipped with the confidence and all the tools for a successful life ahead.
Miss Jenny Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Miss Jenny joined The Discovery House Preschool in 2016, bringing to the Bumble Bee’s room a wealth of skills from teaching in China. Jenny has a Certificate III in Children’s Services and is passionate about teaching and giving children the tools to grow their confidence and self-esteem through learning. In 2019 Jenny has commenced her studies in completing her Diploma in Child's Services and is expected to be completed this in early 2020. Jenny is a mother of one boy, and one girl and when not teaching loves spending time with friends. She is fluent in Mandarin, a language taught to the children of The Discovery House.
Miss LindaCertificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Miss Linda has been with The Discovery House since 2016 and has a Certificate III in Children’s Services. Prior to the Discovery House, Linda taught children in years four and five English in China, she brings these teaching skills to the Bumble Bee’s room. Linda is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys teaching the children Chinese songs and greetings. Linda is a mother of two boys and loves hiking, cycling and playing badminton with her children. Now her children have grown up, she loves working with young children and watching them grow. |
